On Saturday night Nathan lost his first tooth so of course, the tooth fairy had to pay a visit. How does she get in???? Anyway, she quietly left her customary 2 quarters. Nathan could hardly wait for his trip to the quarter machines at HY VEE.
All he has talked of for the past 2 days is getting a necklace. Finally the wonderful moment arrived. Nathan was able to get his necklace. But of course, as is often the case with the quarter machines, a necklace wasn't found in the container, but a ring instead.
Here's the kicker. Nate's response wasn't to throw himself on the ground in a temper tantrum. No, the first words out of his mouth were, "God blessed me with a ring!"
So I have to ask, have the boys learned anything through our adoption process? Isn't God good?
