Showing off my bruise from falling down the stairs onto the marble-like floor... :(

The Luckel Family from Kansas City, MO --Shelby, Rachel, Johan (John) age 9, Nelson age 8, Dayana (Dianna) age 7, Stefani age 5. And the 2 shall become 6.

Nicholas and I joined The Luckel Family at church this morning. Shelby and Rachel know the brother of the missionary pastor from their days at BBC.

It was so great worshipping together, singing in two different languages to the same God!!! Nicholas wasn´t real wild about the worship team. They were a full band (drums even) so it was a bit loud, but Mommy enjoyed it. Mark, you´ll have to work extra hard to keep him from crying during our worship time --no pressure :).

Pastor Craig Lingo. The message was on pride referencing several verses in Proverbs. He gave us wonderful notes, so I´m going to go through the message again before bed.
AND THE MISC...

This doesn´t help the trafic situation...

This is a squirrel from the "Squirrel Exibit" at the Bogota zoo. Yes, there is a squirrel exhibit at the zoo. Maybe we should do a field trip to my back yard...

OK. So you have to buy your own toilet paper when using the public facilities. Wonder if it takes paper money...
Have a great night. I´m off...

Nikkie,
I was thinking that TP might make for some great gifts for the kids, it counts as official Colombia Souvenirs I think. Glad to hear all is well, looking forward to having you back.
Thanks for the update! I know my mind has been some where else right now, but I am still praying for you and glad to see more pictures as well as the journaling. Thanks so much for sending the photo of the family of 6. What an undertaking and what a blessing for those kids. I will be praying for them as well.
It was nice to see your kids with their dad in church. We miss you and can't wait to see you both sitting beside them.
Have a great week. Keep praying for Charley!
Love you!
Nice to see more pictures of the sights and things in Columbia; You know-- staying home and "worrying" about our finances-- I could charge admission to people to come see my squirrels and other random creatures in my yard.... Think we'd be rich?? :) Had a HUGE bear in our yard the other night too.... oh living in the sticks!!
Anyway; This picture of the Luckel family made cry.... what a journey they must be on-- and HOW REWARDING!!!
Any new word on the court stuff?? Come home soon-- can't wait to see you!!
