So I´m off to get more paperwork done. I have no expectations, I´m just going to enjoy the process. I definately think that if one would like to learn to trust God more and give up control, adopting a child is the way to go :).
While eating breakfast this AM, I was reminded of the verse I used to chant as I ws running Cross Country in high school --I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me (Don´t have the reference with me. My Bible is in my room where Nicko is still sleeping). But I know that I will make it through today because God is carrying me. It´s really comforting to picture that.

We are praying for you, know you must be frustrated and sad and missing your people...Good thing that you have the Lord to lean on.. Just think if you were going through this with no hope....

Hey Nik! Amen to your 1st statement there! I am also learning that God doesn't mind spending a few extra hundred dollars here and there if it will bring us closer to Him, make us seek Him more and make us trust Him more. A good friend of mine once told me, "It's all God's money and if that's how He wants to spend it, then that's His choice." He knows your needs and He WILL provide! We'll be praying for you today! Huge ditto on what Amy and Scott said. Sometimes, Nikkie, I think God is growing you and I along parallel paths. So many things happenning that are similar, even though God is using completely different situations to accomplish His work. I am so happy for you as you complete your last full week in Columbia. God is so amazing and the only One who can get'r done. Keep leaning and loving,
