Birds on a nest outside Nicholas' window. It's difficult to see the 2nd bird, but we think there are 3 eggs in the nest.

OK, we got to FANA today and the staff was a bit confused that we were not going to be staying with Nicholas all day. It was a bit strange to us because yesterday they didn't seem to want us around much. This language thing is killing us --even with English being spoken!!!! Something about the body language maybe?
Nicholas is doing well. He is on oxygen now, but only a small amount. We had a tough time with him bonding today :(. It is amazing how quickly he slipped back into the familiarity of FANA. It was a bit frustrating to get him settled with us in the room only to have the nurse return/leave and the tantrum start again. After lunch though she was able to stay away and Nicholas settled in to play with Chris and I. We had a WONDERFUL two of the 7 hours with him. Tomorrow we try again.
PRAISE: We were able to schedule the Bienestar appointment today!!!! Once they realized that Chris was leaving on Tuesday, things came together. We will be taking Nicholas with a portable oxygen tank and a nurse along, but at least we're going. Thank you, Jesus!!!
The traffic here is CRAZY!!!! There are 2 marked lanes on the streets, but at any time there may be cars 4 across --not to mention the motorcycles. Lane? What lane? They seem to be mearly guidelines for successful driving. And stop signs? Just a suggestion. You hear horns honking constantly. Today Chris and I realized that that was how one alerted other drivers to your presence as you whipped in and out of traffic. Definately every man for himself!!
We rode home from FANA today in a Taxi the size of a Festiva. Chris got into the back seat and started putting on his seat belt. The driver calmly turned around and said, "Not necessary". Are you serious????
Now to get this posted. Sorry it's so late. Sleep good boys. We love you Sam, Alex and Nate!!!!

Wow! What a day! Praise God for bringing your appointment together! We are praying the God would quickly heal Nicolas so that you can have him all to yourself again. Also praying that you get a good night's sleep and see some good progress tomorrow. Take care!
Hello my friend, I am so glad to hear about the appointment. Everything is so cool to watch from this side, I feel your frustration, and can also rejoice in your blessings. I can't wait to see how it all comes together. I will continue to pray for Nicholas to be out of the hospital. We all wish we could be there with you but since we can't be we send out our prayers for your safety and continued wisdom and for a few more English speaking contacts to help you not feel lonely.
Chris, great wig, with that hair I think I have a part for you in CDT.

Good Morning Nikkie and Chris!!
Hopefully you will have a good day with Nicholas. I suppose you aren't getting him out of the hospital today either?
The boys had a lot of fun last night. They hitched the petal tractor to the yard wagon and gave rides. The neighbor boy would push from behind and Aaron would steer. Anyone they had a great time. They are enjoying the Walton series on video.
Well, they are getting up now and are hungry so I best feed them.
We are praying for you all.
Alex, Nathan, Sam say hi!
Thanks for the pictures.
We can't wait to have the boys at our house...planning all sorts of activities--including chores:0)
We are praying for you guys..
Love you lots!!
