SOOOOO Happy to be "home"

Hola everyone!!!

Peek-a-

Boo!!!!!

Helpin' Mom make her coffee. Jeni, you would LOVE it. Robin, I don't even miss STARBUCKS!!!

Can I have some, Papa?

We have had so much fun today. Nicholas took only minutes to warm up to all of us and has been smilin' ever since. It's funny. Chris and I hadn't realized how stressed out we were until we were able to relax in the living room this afternoon. It was nice.
A couple from Kansas City moved in on Tuesday night. THEY SPEAK ENGLISH!!! It has been fun sharing spanish lessons. Presentation of their 4 children was today (first time parents). They are precious --John (9 yrs), Nelson (8 yrs), Diana (6 yrs) and Stephanie (5 yrs) --siblings. I am so glad to have friends when Chris leaves on Tuesday. It will make the rest of my time here in Bogota much easier.
Well, I'm off. Good night boys. Sleep well! We love you!!!!!

Glad you are feeling better and out of the hospital.
Mom and Dad guess what? You know that big pile of lumber on Laura's porch? Me and Aaron cleaned it all of for her today and stored it in her shed. She was so proud of us!!!!!!!!
She said we could stay up as late as we want to tonight!!
Good Night! Sam

2 of your boys are sleeping. Of course Sam and Aaron are going to make the most of it.
It has been a great 2 weeks! I must admit I feel guilty leaving them tomorrow. A little protective. But they will be fine with Abbie. Okay and maybe Rick - haha!
Isn't God good!. An English speaking couple!! Praise God!
Glad you are all back to your temporary home and together. See he already needs you and loves you!
Call me tomorrow if you have any transfer of kid orders. They will leave around 1 or so. Oh, I may cry! My eyes are leaking.
Talk to you later.

Praising God with you for a great day! We will be praying that there are many more to come. Thanks for the great pictures! So fun to see him happy and smiling, Nicholas that is, not Chris.(Just kidding!) That is so wonderful that you have an English speaking family to spend time with. We hope you will be able to become good friends so you won't be so lonely. Praying that you have another great day tomorrow!

Thayer Family,

Good Morning! We met your family last February at the FANA Birthday Party. We also had the pleasure of meeting Nicholas at FANA last May when we were visiting for our tour of FANA after receiving our little guy just days before. Nicholas is a precious little boy and we are so happy for all of you. I love the pictures that you have posted! It sounds like Nicholas is feeling better, so we are keeping our fingers crossed for you on that interview with Bienestar. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers and look forward to your safe and speedy return back home. However, in the meantime, enjoy the newest member of your family! He is a handsome little fella!

Love, Brian, Korene and Taciano Henry (FOF-MN)

It has been fun to read your blog about life in Columbia. I can understand some of what you are going through since I have been in Bogota. I had to laugh when I read about the taxi driver not wanting Chris to put on his seatbelt. It is hard to get used to not using a car seat too. Just remember that prayer really does help. It was good to hear that Nicolas is "home" again. Hang in there and soon you will be home. We can't wait to meet Nicolas.
Love,
Cari
